Internationally Recruited Care Worker Legal and HR Helpline: Terms and Conditions
This disclaimer governs your use of the helpline service provided by Lester Aldridge LLP (hereinafter referred to as "the Law Firm") and commissioned by International Recruitment East (IRE). By utilising this helpline service, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
International Recruitment East reserves the right to amend this disclaimer at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review this disclaimer periodically for any updates or changes.
- Scope of Service: The helpline service is limited to addressing enquiries related to recruitment under the Health and Care Worker Visa route. This service cannot provide support for employment disputes or tribunals. It is intended solely for enquiries from Internationally Recruited Care Workers who fulfil following criteria:
- Live in the East of England in one of the 12 participating Local Authority areas (Cambridgeshire County Council, Peterborough City Council, Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council, Luton Borough Council, Milton Keynes City Council, Norfolk County Council, Suffolk County Council, Essex County Council, Southend City Council , Thurrock Borough Council, Hertfordshire County Council) and;
- Have been displaced following their sponsors licence revocation
- Charge: The helpline service is provided free of charge to enquirers, it is fully funded by IRE via the Department of Health and Social Care International Recruitment Funding initiative.
- Enquiry Handling: Access to this support will be via Spoke Mailboxes, where requests for support will be triaged to ensure workers meet the criteria set out in section 1.
- Workers contact details will then be provided via email, with appropriate consent, to the Law Firm. All enquiries made will be addressed by appropriately qualified legal advisors from the immigration team at the Law Firm. Enquiries may be addressed through a phone call of up to 30 minutes. Please be aware that the advice and guidance provided during this call may be limited in scope. Complex enquiries may require additional time, and the Law Firm may offer the enquirer the option to engage as a client for further assistance.
- Workers will be entitled to up to 30 minutes per query/matter
- Confidentiality: Any information shared during the course of the enquiry is strictly confidential and will only be disclosed to IRE for evaluation purposes. The Law Firm adheres to strict confidentiality standards to safeguard your information.
- Acknowledgment of Limitations: By using this service, you acknowledge that the advice and guidance provided are subject to limitations. You understand that the scope of assistance is confined to the Health and Care Worker Visa route for the international recruitment of care workers.
- Enquiry Channels and Response Times: Enquiries made via referral email from Spoke will receive a call back within 48 hours, if received before 4pm on a Friday, or on the following Monday if received thereafter.
- Service Duration: This helpline service is scheduled to operate from Monday 1st June 2026 to Friday 26th February 2027. IRE reserves the right to modify or terminate the service at its discretion.
- No Client Relationship: You acknowledge that your use of the hotline does not establish a client relationship with the Law Firm. The helpline service is provided via IRE's instruction of the Law Firms and IRE will be the sole client of the Law Firms in respect of any advice given via the hotline. Any complaints about the service or advice provided by the Law Firm must be addressed to IRE.
- Legal Jurisdiction: This service operates under the legal jurisdiction of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the laws of England and Wales.
