Financial incentives for care providers

A financial incentive is available for adult social care providers. It is for providers who employ displaced internationally recruited care workers. These are workers wanting new employment because their previous employer's licence was revoked.

About the financial incentive

The offer is £1,575 per worker. It is for up to four members of staff per Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered location.

It is available from 27 October 2025 until 19 June 2026.

You can apply for financial incentives for displaced internationally recruited care workers:

Recruited between 1 September 2025 and 24 April 2026
After they have been in your employment for eight weeks

Who can apply

The fund is on a first come, first served basis. It is only available to care providers operating in the eastern region:

Essex
Hertfordshire
Luton
Milton Keynes
Norfolk
Peterborough
Southend
Suffolk
Thurrock

How to apply

Go to the Eastern Region Care Alliance Association (ERCAA) website to apply for financial incentives.

They will complete provider checks and manage the payments.
